Appco Group Japan Convention 2010 celebrates a decade of operation

Appco Group Japan celebrated its 10th successful year on 16 October 2010 in the capital city, Tokyo. More than 250 delegates made the journey to the capital city, Tokyo, for the Appco Group Japan Convention 2010. This was marked as the pioneer major event held in a decade’s business operation in the country.

Appco Group Japan was founded in May 2000, now represents three clients in the telecommunications and fundraising sectors. A network of 200 representatives, across seven major cities throughout Japan, acquire on average 1,000 new customers for clients every week.

Held within the luxury conference facilities of the Akihabara Convention, the occasion saw the tremendous achievements of representatives associated to Appco Group in all the seven branches across the country.

Commenting on the event, Mike Blane, Managing Director, Appco Group, described it as a "10th year anniversary to savour. The Group is flying here. Lots of new Owners are making great money and expanding. I was really impressed with the knowledge, sincerity and ambition of so many of the people."

Appco Group Japan - Extending great customer aquistion numbers consistently

Appco Group of Companies decided to extend their services to Japan following client demand in May 2000. The company benefitted from a great reception in the country and the initial campaign the company rolled out with American Express and CitiBank in Tokyo, turned out to be a huge success.


Drawing inspiration from its great start, Appco Group Japan launched a customer acquisition campaign in 2002 with KDDI telecommunications with the help of their Appco Group Telecommunication division. The campaign gave way to the start of a long-lasting and fruitful relationship for both KDDI as well as Appco Group Japan.

Today, the company is the marketing partner of three clients in the telecommunications and fundraising sectors (this with the help of the Appco Group Support division) and successful acquires customers for them on a very large scale. With 200 representatives in seven major cities throughout the country, Appco Group Japan acquires an average of 1000 new customers for their clients weekly.
